| About 6 months ago, on one of the stamping lists, folks were talking about how they were using up these little Formica tiles they got from the larger home improvement store. So, off I went. I grabbed a few tiles, glued them together, and came up with these. |

The above card is called the Windows of
Creativity card because of the three acetate window panes. I was taught how to do this by Lenna Andrews Foster, her web page is here Taking classes is one of my favorite things, and I have many more that I signed up for that Lenna is teaching. |

| This cute little treasure is called a Criss Cross Book. It looks MUCH harder to make than it is. It sits on little beads for legs, the signatures (pages) are attached by using the pamphlet stitch. I really enjoyed making this. Once again, I was taught by Lenna Andrews Foster, and the majority of stamps I used are from The Stampsmith | |
This book is called a Ribbon
Bound Book. I made it The Stamper's Cove in Southington, CT, and
I was taught by Lynn. This project can be bought as a kit from Fascinating Folds . You may be able to find it elsewhere as well. The
company that made the kit is called "Books By Hand".

The background of this Happy Birthday card is done with the Polished Stone technique. Unfortunately the shimmer shiny parts are very difficult to photograph, but it really is striking. The card here was made with a gold Krylon pen & Tria inks. You can read more about this technique at Odd-Goddess The cheapest place I have found to buy Tria ink refills is Artgraphix-Stover Graphics |
